If the software does not run correctly, refer to the section below on What to Do If Errors Occur.

The program has been verified as running correctly on Netscape Communicator 4.x and Internet Explorer 5.x (both Windows only). If the game does not start, or runs strangely, we recommend that you first download the latest versions of the browsers in question. Use the download buttons on the index page of this site.

We created this program in the hopes that it would run as intended, but we are not liable in any way, shape or form if by some chance some problem should occur, even if it should affect the system on which it is being used.

Taka coded this program.

What to Do If Errors Occur

The files which the applet uses total some 380KB, which a 28Kbps modem connection should be able to download in about 14 seconds, though it could take longer during nighttime hours in Japan, when flat-rate telephone access goes into effect in the Tokyo area.

We have received reports that the applet does not run on Mac OS systems, and are currently investigating. If the applet does not run on your system, we recommend first installing the newest versions of Web browsers and Java Virtual Machine (JVM), if you have not done so. You can download Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 for Mac OS from here, and Mac OS Runtime for Java(MRJ)2.1.4 here. Note that MRJ 2.1.4 is Power Mac native. Our thanks to Mr. Takeda for providing us with information on this point.

If you are using a Mac, and cannot manipulate the tiles, use Cmd-click to rotate the tile, and Option-click to place the tile, once you have picked it up. We are currently investigating how to make the game work with one-button mouse operations. Our thanks to Mr. Hikichi for providing us with information on this point.

We have received word that the applet does not work with Internet Explorer 5.x, either, and are currently investigating this problem as well. If you find yourself in this situation, check out the Windows Update page from within either Internet Explorer 5.x or the Start Menu in the Windows Toolbar, and download and install any new Java Virtual Machine (JVM) or other modules posted there.

If anyone reading this knows how to make java applets run in a stable fashion on 68K Macs or Netscape Navigator for the Mac OS, please post either to the message board or to our email address. Thank you.

All software installations should be suited to your particular systems, and are performed entirely at your own risk.

If you encounter any other problems besides those listed here, please describe the situation in detail either on our message board or at our email address. Thank you.
